Wander – verb – to walk or move in a leisurely, casual or aimless way.
Traveling is in my blood. I mean that quite literally as I come from a long line of Irish gypsies that wandered their way over to America some odd years ago. I’m completely captivated by the idea of visiting different places, meeting new people, and learning about the variety of cultures that make our world go round.
I hope to share the world with you via photographs!

June, 2023: Sea turtles, giant clams, clear waters, and coral reefs were just a few things that made this island one of my most enjoyed experiences!

October, 2021: I’m standing at the base of a Colorado canyon that carries on for miles. I admire the colors of these vast rock formations, and wonder about the history that lies within each visible layer. The sun is beginning to sink below the horizon, and a pack of wild rams (not pictured) is roaming just down the trail to my left. I can’t help but to think this is what Pocahontas was going on about when she sang Colors of the Wind.

July, 2021: I enjoyed a week of R + R with my family in “America’s Oldest City”. We dedicated one day to doing all the touristy things- the Fort, the Lighthouse, the town, etc., but we spent most of our time right here on the beach. We stayed a short walk from the shore, which made getting up for the sunrise a little easier. I love the ocean most in the morning time, just as the sun is rising. The sky almost always glows in pastels, sea foam is whiter, I’m usually one of the only ones out. It’s quiet.
ASPEN, CO
September, 2019: I spent the weekend swimming through golden forests of the Aspen/Twin Lakes areas with some friends. Our campsite had the most magnificent view of the mountains. I remember how small I felt in this moment. I remember how I had initially wanted a photo of just the trees and the winding trail ahead of me. I’m thankful my friends had stopped ahead, bringing to life the vastness of the Aspens. If you’ve never experienced Colorado fall foliage, that is one adventure you MUST add to your bucket list!
Orlando, fl
August, 2019 : We set out with a goal.. 4 parks, 1 day. How’d that work out? LOL.. We kicked it in Magic Kingdom for the entire day! If you’ve ever been to Disney World, you know each of the 4 parks holds too much magic and sparkle to be discovered in one fourth of a day. I mean seriously, I could spend HOURS taking in the architectural beauty that is Cinderella’s Castle. Princesses, Mickey-shaped treats, Pixie Dust, and singing in the streets were just a few of the magical experiences that made up my visit. Only tears of joy were shed (yes I cried - have you seen the Happily Ever After Firework show?) because Disney is truly, the Happiest Place on Earth.

January - February, 2019 : Everything is in fact, bigger in Texas. I was able to spend 3 whole weeks in the Lone Star state and I enjoyed (almost) every second of it! Most people in this area are bilingual, which encouraged me to brush up on mi español. (It’s so amazing when you can understand and converse in another person’s first language!!) I wasn’t able to see and do everything on my list, but I wasn’t disappointed with with the famous cattle, local food and breathtaking views of the city I was able to enjoy. 10/10 will return!
New York, NY
November - December, 2018 : 5 weeks spent in the city of dreams! While I was there, I was able to attend the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade - the COLDEST one in history! It was an overall great experience to be submerged in the hustle and bustle of NYC for over a month, but MAN am I thankful to be back in the Carolinas!
Plattsburgh, ny
October, 2018 : I was able to spend an entire month living in the north eastern region of New York! Much different than the city that never sleeps, Plattsburgh was pretty calm and quiet. My favorite adventure was about an hour south of Plattsburgh in Lake Placid, where I snapped this photo of my travel bud in the midst of the hazy morning. If you’ve never heard of Lake Placid, it was the home of the 1980’s Winter Olympics! We took a few trips down there during our days in NY. It was just beginning to snow the last time we visited! (@ all my southern fam - it was SNOWING in OCTOBER!)
cobán, guatemala
June, 2018 : Our group flew in on a medical missions trip and teamed up with Misioneros Sin Fronteras, a non-profit located in the mountainous region of Cobán. We spent the week providing medical exams and distributing supplies to the non-profit and surrounding villages. This perfect aqua blue stream flowed across the property we stayed on in the valley. What an incredible week.
Ouray, co
October, 2017 : We spent most of our time tucked away in a tiny mountain town by the name of Ouray. Also known as the Switzerland of America, this beautiful town is backed by the most stunning range of mountains you'll ever see. I was overjoyed to be able to test out my astro photography and thrilled that I caught the big dipper!
Niagara falls, ny
April, 2017 : Niagara is a beauty during the day, but oh, does she shine at night. I spent my 21st Birthday exploring NYC and the breathtaking Falls (treat yo'self - am I right?) Ontario, Canada is that lil' city on the other side and I WISH I'd had my passport! If you make it up there one day, be sure to take a boat ride down in the Falls.. I promise it's like nothing you've ever seen.
